The Bereavement Ministry lovingly assists the family members of our deceased parishioners.

We pray the Rosary at visitations before Funerals and we attend Funeral Masses to pray for the repose of the soul of the deceased. If requested by the deceased’s family, the Bereavement Ministry coordinates a light reception in the Hammond Hall following the Funeral Mass when it is offered at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Ministry members volunteer to bake, prepare food, set up, serve and/or clean up, providing hospitality to those attending the Funeral and enabling the family to spend time with their relatives and friends.
